Using Kitchen CUT: A guide for YCO2019 competitors, mentors & lecturers

Welcome to Kitchen CUT   

Built on the foundations of internationally renowned Michelin starred chef, John Wood, Kitchen CUT helps to transform every element of an F&B operation allowing control wherever you are, with access from any device. The cloud based, intuitive system includes features such as Supplier Management, Allergen Tracking, Nutritional Analysis, Recipe Costing & Menu Planning, Stock Control, Wastage Tracking and Buffet Analysis among many others. 

YCO2019 will give you the opportunity to use the system for creating recipes, sub recipes and menus, tracking nutritional information and allergens as well as a whole host of other features.  We’ll be with you every step of the way should you need help or assistance, but first, a short introduction to Kitchen CUT….


Kitchen CUT – An introduction from John Wood

Kitchen CUT Co-Founder, Michelin Starred Chef and YCO 2019 Judge, John Wood runs through the basics of the Kitchen CUT system and demonstrates just how simple it is to use.

Username and Password

Your Kitchen CUT username and password will be sent to you in the coming weeks.  Please be reassured that your login is specific to you, your college and your country.  No competitor or mentor will have access to the accounts of other competitors or mentors.  

NB:  There is a 24 hour expiry on the login in link from time you receive it.  However, you can still access the system by logging in as per the email instructions and requesting a new password.

If you have not yet received your username and password, please check your spam/junk folder.  If you are still unable to locate the email, please contact, who will be able to supply you with login instructions.

We have created a series of Step by Step Guides to help you understand how the system works, from how to create a recipe to adding nutritional and calorific information to your dishes.  Before getting started, please take a look at these in order to familiarise yourself with the system.
