The allergen management aspect of the system is used by the whole team in order to ensure we are continually allergen compliant, and to ensure that our patrons can rest safe in the knowledge they are always dining safely with us.

The system has allowed us to truly scrutinise our supplier spend – before implementing the system, we were unaware that we were losing a lot of money with our set menus, but now with Kitchen CUT, we can track costs easily and thanks to that we’ve tightened down on costs, which has had a really positive impact on our GP.

Our ordering process has been simplified drastically, and we’ve reduced right down on the time it takes us chasing suppliers. Subsequently, our stock taking time has reduced right down by roughly 4 hours; the teams submit their stock take to me, and I can cross-check anything by checking the stock area with my tablet. 

The accounting element of the system is excellent, having all invoices and credits in one place makes it so easy to view – we’ve never had a system where these sorts of things are so trackable. It really helps us to understand what we spend daily, and weekly, with all our different suppliers, plus it enables us to see the differences between front-of-house vs back-of-house vs the bar, and that means we can make the best decisions for the business when looking to save money but still provide excellent quality.

Kitchen CUT are always improving as well, which is so great to see and we’re really excited to be a customer.

From a customer service perspective, I had a great session with my assigned Account Manager who took me through what the system could do and made it all really useable and easy to understand – I found this incredibly helpful and reassuring. My Account Manager has been in frequent contact since, and is always super helpful – if I send her an email or give her a call the response is always quick! Whenever I have a problem the service at Kitchen CUT is so fast and my issues are always resolved – usually by the end of the day, which is unheard of in other systems within this space.
