Reporting to: Head of Training and Development
To assist the Head of Training & Development with their plans in building a training ‘centre of excellence’ by learning about the F&B industry and the Kitchen CUT software with the aim of delivering quality client training.
The ideal candidate has a passion for learning and wants to build a career in software training. They may have previous training experience although this is not essential, the right attitude of mind is.

Learning how to deliver client training both webinars and, on-site sessions
Working with the Head of Training & Development to manage the co-ordination of training events
Shadowing Kitchen CUT’s Founder & Director whilst delivering training in order to capture and document actions
Aiding Kitchen CUT’s Founder & Director ensuring he has all the necessary information to deliver quality, structured training to clients
Assess and document learning needs ‘on the fly’ during live training sessions
Document feedback for each session developing a ‘lessons learnt’ approach and feed back to the Head of Training & Development
Build & own the company knowledge base in relation to product software & training information
Any other duties deemed appropriate by the Head of Training & Development
A passion for software training and how it can best be deployed
A desire to understand adult learning, utilising theories within the business
Ability to learn new systems and applications quickly
Able to co-ordinate activities and provide feedback clearly, concisely and consistently
Capable of understanding the commercial benefits quality training brings to a software project implementation
Personable, friendly and comfortable to work in the presence of various levels of seniority within a client’s business
Ability to listen to client requirements, translate them and document
Strong organisational skills, able to provide co-ordination services
Experience of using a variety of business software
Good communication skills
Previous training experience would be a considerable advantage but is not essential
Working towards CIPD membership would be advantageous
Training qualifications such as TAP and/or Training & Development Diploma would be viewed favourably
Ideally based within commuting distance from Henley-on-Thames
A background in IT software and/or F&B would be advantageous although other industry experience will also be considered
Able to travel to client-site as required – this is predominately UK based although some work abroad may be required. This may initially be as much as 75% of the time although may alter as the business grows.
